Robert A. Agresta, Managing Partner
Robert Agresta is the firm’s managing partner. He is licensed to practice in the states of New York and New Jersey and the District of Columbia. He holds a JD from New York Law School and Bachelor of Science degree from the College of Business Administration at Fordham University. He graduated the NADA Dealer Academy – a one-year program in automotive retail management in 2006. Robert is a member of the American Bar Association, the Association of the Bar of the State of New York, the District of Columbia Bar Association and the Bergen County Bar Association.
Robert holds two published United States patent applications and is a licensed Pilot by the Federal Aviation Administration. He is also a licensed New York Real Estate Broker.
Anthony K. Modafferi, III, Of Counsel
Anthony K. Modafferi, III, is responsible for the firm’s litigation practice group. He is admitted to practice before the United States Supreme Court, United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit, Third Circuit and the Federal Circuit Court of Appeals. He is also admitted to the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey, the United States District Court for the District of Columbia, the United States District Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York.
Mr. Modafferi was previously a partner in Pressler & Modafferi, and prior to that served as in-house counsel for National Community Bank, before it was acquired by the Bank of New York. Later, he would go on to win a six-million dollar jury verdict in one case and then try the case again and obtain a jury verdict compelling a major city to award his client a re-development contract worth of $4.5 Billion. He was just 36 years old at the time.
Brett Joshpe, Of Counsel
Brett Joshpe, Esq. is Counsel to the firm in the Firm’s strategies, litigation and corporate practice groups. Brett is a graduate of Cornell University and Harvard Law School. After law school, he worked at the law firm of Clearly Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton LLP on corporate and real estate transactions. He then worked at the law firm of Wrobel & Schatz LLP doing corporate and litigation work. Brett is a published author and contributes frequently to various national publications, including Forbes online. His work has been covered by the national media on numerous occasions, and he has appeared on a variety of national television and radio programs. Joshpe is admitted to the New York State Bar.
Robert P. Miraglia, Of Counsel
Robert Miraglia is Counsel to the Firm in our Corporate Counsel, Real Estate, Contracts, Personal Injury and Products Liability ptractice groups. Robert is admitted to practice before New York State courts and the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York. Mr. Miraglia holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Queens College and his Juris Doctor degree from New York Law School. He is a member of the Kings County Catholic Lawyers Guild, the Columbian Lawyers Association for the First Judicial Department, the New York State Bar Association and the Queens County Bar Association.
